The most effective way to control the sun's heat and glare is to stop it before it enters through your
windows & doors. Once the Sun's rays enter through your window they are absorbed and begin to
radiate throughout the room in the form of heat. Much like a big shade tree the Solar Sun Screens will help
 reduce your cooling costs, can reduce the load on your air conditioning and will help reduce
glare and fading.

Phifer SunTex- is a fabric woven of extremely strong and durable vinyl-coated polyester yarns.
 The uniform weave design offers excellent outward visibilty and great ventilation.
 Shadining is approximately 80-90%, and SunTex is offered in four earth tone colors.
The Screen is also pet resistant making it ideal for indoor use and full length screen panels.

How it works?


The Chart above shows a window with brown SunTex installed.
In midsummer as much as 230 B.T.U.'s can fall on each unprotected square foot of glass.

With SunTex installed, up to 90% of the Sun's heat and glare is reflected, absorbed and
dissapated before it strikes the window.
